Commonly used damper types are viscous fluid dampers, friction dampers, viscoelastic dampers, metal dampers, etc. The main forms are: viscoelastic damper bearings, rod viscous dampers, rod viscous or sticky , elastic damper, FM mass damper, etc. When installing the damper in the grinding mill, you can start from the following points:

  • 3. According to the weight of the mill, the load condition, through the calculation of vibration isolation performance, install a suitable damper at a suitable position between the mill and the ground. The damping coefficient of the damper must be determined by calculation.

In addition to the installation of the damping system, another important method of vibration control of grinding mills is vibration isolation. Vibration isolation is to change the near-rigid connection between the vibration source and the foundation or the connection structure to elastic connection to prevent or reduce the transmission of vibration energy, and finally achieve the purpose of vibration reduction and noise reduction.
